This event is set to just get better each year and is a great way to kick off the summer of 2009! The festival is scheduled to take place (rain or shine) from Friday,thune 12th to Sunday,thune 14th at Pier 8 located at 47 Discovery Drive, Hamilton, Ontario. The hours of operation will be as follows; 12 pm – 12 midnight on Friday,thune 12th, 12 pm – 12 midnight on Saturday,thune 13th and 12 pm – 6 pm on Sunday,thune 14th. Admission is free until 6pm. After 6pm there will be a $2 entrance fee for ages 13 and older. Your fee includes one program per family. This fee covers the fireworks on Saturday night and the headliner entertainment. Hamilton WatWingfestWingfest will include the sale of chicken wings from a variety of local restaurants, a carnival for children with a variety of rides, an original art show where citizens can view and purchase art, inexpensive boat tours aboard the Hamilton Harbour Queen, live entertainment all weekend, and a beverage gardens that will offer beer and wine. Check out our Hall of Fame for last years participants and winners! Please bring your lawn chair! The Welcome Inn Community Centre will have a booth at this year's event for their food drive. Any canned goods may be dropped off at their booth during the event.
